Welcome to my Pokemon Blog!
This page will keep you up to date with what’s going on in my first-ever Nuzlocke. What is a Nuzlocke, you may ask? A Nuzlocke is a popular, self-imposed ruleset designed to make Pokémon games much more challenging. It primarily forces players to permanently retire fainted Pokémon (adding emotional weight) and heavily limits team-building by restricting captures to the first wild Pokémon encountered in each new area.
This challenge is meant to help put the RPG back into Pokémon. I am using two special clauses for this run:
My Phanpy cannot die. Phanpy is my partner Pokémon, so I can’t bear to think of going on this journey without him. Here’s the deal: if Phanpy faints, I have to run a mile.
Gifted Pokémon are allowed to join the team.
